1G to 5G transceivers from TIFNEX
SFP modules remain the workhorse of access and aggregation networks. TIFNEX stocks more than 960 1G, 2.5G and 100M SFP transceivers, including 1000BASE-SX (850nm, multimode), 1000BASE-LX/LH (1310nm, 10km), EX and ZX long reach (40km to 160km), BiDi single-fiber modules and CWDM/DWDM channels.
Copper 1000BASE-T RJ45 SFPs are available for short in-rack links. Modules are coded for Cisco, Brocade, H3C, Extreme, Juniper, Dell, HPE, Arista and other platforms.

Common questions
What is the difference between SX, LX and ZX SFP modules?
SX uses 850nm over multimode fiber for up to about 550m. LX uses 1310nm over single-mode fiber for up to 10km. ZX uses 1550nm for long links of around 80km.
Can I use a 1G SFP in a 10G SFP+ port?
Many SFP+ ports accept 1G SFP modules, but not all. Check your switch documentation or send us the model and we will confirm.
What is a BiDi SFP?
A BiDi (bidirectional) SFP sends and receives on different wavelengths over a single fiber strand, halving the fiber you need. They are used in pairs, for example 1310nm/1490nm.
