Buying guide
Industrial switches from TIFNEX
Industrial switches are built for heat, dust and vibration. TIFNEX supplies DIN-rail and panel-mount managed and unmanaged switches with 1G RJ45 and SFP ports, wide operating temperature ranges and redundant power inputs, suited to the Gulf climate.
Use them with industrial-temperature SFP transceivers for fiber links between cabinets and buildings.
Common questions
What makes a switch industrial-grade?
A wide operating temperature range, fanless design, DIN-rail mounting, redundant power inputs and resistance to vibration and dust.
Do I need industrial-temperature SFPs too?
Yes, in outdoor or uncooled cabinets. Standard SFPs are rated for 0 to 70 degrees C, while industrial versions cover -40 to 85 degrees C.
Can industrial switches be managed remotely?
Managed models support VLANs, SNMP and redundancy protocols for remote monitoring.
Have a bill of materials?
Send part numbers, quantities and target platforms. An engineer replies within 24 hours.
