This 1G BiDi optical transceiver is built for campus, metro and inter-building links. It operates at 1310nm over single-mode (SMF) fiber with a link reach of up to 10km. The optical interface is LC duplex. Digital diagnostics (DDM/DOM) report temperature, voltage and optical power in real time for easier monitoring. Coded for Cisco equipment as a compatible alternative to part number GLC-2BX-U.
